The audio that Bárbara, arrested for killing her 4-year-old son in Almería, sent to her father before accusing herself: “I tried to save him”

After receiving this message, The maternal grandparents of the deceased sounded the alarm about what happened. It was at this moment that the search deployment began in which members of the local police, the Civil Guard and Civil Protection collaborated.

“Physical and sexual violence”

Around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 3the local police of Mojácar found the lifeless body of the 4-year-old minor in a cabin of the Marina de La Torre beach in Mojácarmunicipality of Almería adjacent to Garrucha.

The two accused were immediately arrested: Barbara Ysmar B.the child’s mother, and Juan David R.his ex-spouse, who is not the biological father of the minor.

Last Saturday, December 6, the Civil and Instruction Section of the Court of Instance number 4 of Vera (Almería) accepted the admission to temporary prison without bail for both.

Both are under investigation for crimes of murder and child abuse. Likewise, the prison entry order indicates that Juan David “habitually mistreated and beat” the minor and that on the morning preceding the child’s murder He raped and beat him “repeatedly” while Barbara was outside the house.

However, it is not excluded that the mother witnessed the abuse suffered by her son, since she returned home around 12:00 p.m., after Juan David told her that the child “did not feel well.”

Civil Guard reports indicate that the body was found with “obvious signs of violence.” For their part, the results of the autopsy – carried out at the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) – determined that the child died at 3:30 p.m., as well as that the body presented itself “signs of physical and sexual violence”.

The mother of the deceased, a 21-year-old Venezuelan, “had already been arrested and indicted a few months ago for having abused his son“, according to sources close to the investigation detailed by this newspaper.

Juan David had a license prohibition order before Bárbara and Lucca since October 20, as reported by the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA).

Likewise, in his words, he emphasizes that the tragedy could have been avoided by keeping our distance: “I know that the best decision would have been to leave you alone and for you to stay away from us. Maybe nothing, none of this would have happened“.

It was planned that the Social Services of the Provincial Delegation of Almería They will visit the house where Lucca lived. However, the visit did not take place because 24 hours earlier the child had already been murdered.

The youngest I lived in an apartment shared with other immigrant families. He had no room of his own or space to play. However, despite the episodes of violence and the precarious situation, Bárbara police custody has not been removed from Lucca as a precautionary measure.
