Osasco now prepares to face the biggest challenge of the tournament. In second place in group A, they will face Coneglianoan Italian team and one of the powers of European volleyball, this Friday the 13th, at 4:30 p.m. (Brasilia time). The other semi-final will take place between Scandicci And Beach clubat 1 p.m. the same day.
The first set was absolutely dominated by Osasco, who quickly took the lead, imposed a strong pace and closed serenely at 25 to 17. From the second half, however, the duel changed: Zhetysu reacted, exploited Brazil’s flaws and reversed the second and third sets, taking advantage of Osasco’s offensive errors to score 25/23 and 25/21.

The comeback came in the fourth set, when Osasco regained control with fewer errors and an excellent blocking performance, winning 25-18. In the tie-break, the Kazakhs started in the lead, but the Brazilian team went point by point and won 19-17.
Osasquense’s group stage campaign ended with two wins and one loss: a 3–0 victory against Alianza Lima early on, a 3-0 defeat to Scandicci in the second round, and the hard-earned 3-2 against Jetysu in that third match.
Osasco loses to Italians at Volleyball World Cup
Osasco took the field this Wednesday 10, for her second match of the Women’s Club Volleyball World Cup, played at the Pacaembu gymnasium, and ended up being beaten by the Italian Scandicci, by 3 sets to 0, with shares of 31/29, 25/22 and 25/15.
