Grabois
Reprehensible image of the unpresentable Rep. “K” Juan Grabois allegedly sleeping in the middle of Congress. But was he really sleeping? Certainly not, he just wants to show his insolence and intolerance towards democratic and institutional institutions. The scope of Congress is too large for him and his attitude is not befitting this prestigious office. We Argentines do not want to continue to bank and pay salaries to these rude people who represent no one, and we also want the justice system to act quickly in the case that exposes 40 ghost eaters.

Minors and networks
Australia has banned the use of networks for people under 16, a correct measure but difficult to control. For my part, I think it would also be healthy for children under 14 not to have access to phones with internet, as this exposes them to dangers for which they are not yet prepared. To do this, phones for minors should be brought onto the market that are just that: phones. Like the old Startac… That would allow parents or guardians to contact minors, but without allowing them to gain access to websites that they cannot yet see and interpret. In addition, they face a real risk of being deceived or captured by unscrupulous people who can cause them serious harm. And the problem of online pornography and violence cannot be ignored. Children with their own mobile devices use adult websites without any restrictions or supervision. And of course, the possibility of minors attending their classrooms or schools with cell phones should not even be discussed, which I consider to be an unacceptable distraction and contradictory to the concept of learning. It’s as if at other times a student walked into the classroom with a ball bearing and spent the class playing…

Result
Anyone who knows our national constitution knows that retirement is not the result of personal enrichment, but of compliance with a constitutional right, in particular Article 14 bis of the national constitution itself, which reinstates at the time of retirement the contributions made during working life. The same Supreme Court and lower courts agree that retirements should not be considered “earnings” for tax purposes. Well, in this case it is worth asking why there are pensions that continue to accrue withholdings for paying personal income tax. It is clear that imposing taxes of any kind on pensions is an arbitrary and unfair measure of the state.

Airlines
We often read and hear complaints about the generally poor service provided by the state-owned company Aerolíneas Argentinas. But like everything in life, it isn’t given the importance it has until it’s your turn. Because I am not just referring to the enormous resources that have been made available to him for years from the state treasury through our taxes. But because of the terrible attention – rather inattention – of this company to its customers. A few days ago, I tried to make a simple seat reservation through the company’s website. Impossible. Of course, my credit card has already been charged for the corresponding amount and I cannot display it in the reservation. I was “hung” three times – each time for over 25 minutes – on the phone number 51993555 and the corresponding option with no one answering. The tragicomic thing about it, of course, is that you are told at the beginning that you will be referred to a “satisfaction survey” at the end of the conversation. It is really time to liquidate this company that sets excessive tariffs and has no professional staff but bureaucrats. Not only will it be cheaper to no longer bear the tax burden, but also to endure the devastating effects of this company’s inefficient services.

Monorail
The idea of the head of government of Buenos Aires to explore the installation of a monorail using the layout of Avenida General Paz and expanding the subway network starting from line F is a project that goes in the right direction if one wants to relieve traffic in the city. Only efficient public transport with options will truly prevent the use of private vehicles. Workarounds like the Metrobus, which was incorrectly adapted to certain avenues in the city without the necessary width, divided transit space with a zero-sum result. To this idea should be added the creation of underground parking spaces so that those arriving on the outskirts of the city can leave their vehicles. Perhaps in the future this monorail can also be combined with a diversion that allows access to Ezeiza Airport as it exists in major cities around the world.

I enjoyed the polo finals in Palermo, with two great teams and the skills with horses and tacos. Adolfito Cambiaso comes from another planet and I congratulate him for continuing to compete at the first level and playing with his family. An example of an athlete with special leadership who should be emulated by sports lovers.
