After 5 years of joint work, the book is presented, which brings together more than 100 stories, testimonies, letters, photos and artistic productions from people from all over the world who experienced exile during their childhood in the 70s and 80s. La Bayadera.- At 8 p.m. In the Sala Ginastera of the Teatro Argentino, 51, between 9 and 10 a.m., the Ballet and the Estables Theater Orchestra will present the suite consisting of the main moments of this magnificent work of the classical dance repertoire with music by Ludwig Minkus and choreography by Marius Petipa, performed by Edgardo Trabalón. Musical direction: Darío Domínguez Xodo. The libretto is by Sergei Khudekov and Petipa himself and was inspired by two plays by the Hindu poet Kālidāsa. Set in exotic India, it tells the tragic love story between Nikiya – a “bayadera”, a virgin trained as a child to dance sacred dances – and the warrior Solor, who must face the wrath of the Rajah and the evil Princess Gamzatti, Solor’s fiancé.
