The Commission of Spokespersons and the Council of Cortes of Castile-La Mancha established the format and decided the official convening of the plenary session which will debate and vote on the budget bill of the Government of Castile-La Mancha for 2026, … after going through the Economy and Budgets Committee this week.
The format of this monographic session which will take place on Wednesday 17 This will once again be similar to that of recent years, indicated the regional Parliament in a press release.
The Government Council and the commission’s designated rapporteur, the socialist deputy Silvia Fernández, will have the opportunity to open the day, in both cases with a maximum turn of 15 minutes, to defend the text that arrives in plenary after its approval in committee this week, in which six partial amendments from the Socialist Group have been incorporated.
The majority of the session will be devoted to debate of the 1,115 partial amendments that the Popular Group kept alive for a new debate in plenary session and after its rejection in the Committee on the Economy and Budget. The approach to each of them will be divided into twelve blocks, which bring together all the chapters of the budget with amendments, and in each of them, the group that defends them, the PP, and the group responsible for the presentation, the PSOE, will have their turn to speak.
Vox, which does not have any partial amendments to the 2026 Budgets, will be able to intervene from the start for ten minutes to defend its individual votes. Just before the vote, the three parliamentary groups will take the floor again to establish their positions, at which time the Governing Council will also be able to intervene, this time without time limit, to finally give way to the vote on the amendments and all the articles of the bill.
Depending on the progress of the session which begins Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., it may take place in a single day or break up in the afternoon and resume another day.
