The incident occurred on November 25 on a city metro platform and ended without injuries thanks to the rapid intervention of the officer and several passengers present on site.
The officer, later identified as Felisa Pozas, noticed that the young man was walking with difficulty and seemed disoriented because he was getting too close to the edge of the platform.
As shown in the images broadcast by LaSexta, Pozas decided to activate the emergency button to alert the authorities. Despite this, he could not prevent the young man from losing his balance and falling.

The agent immediately went down to his aid, accompanied by passengers who witnessed the scene. Together, and in just a few seconds, they managed to free the young man from the tracks and bring him back safely to the platform.
Emergency medical personnel treated him shortly after and confirmed that he was out of danger and that he had no serious injuries, despite the strong shock suffered during the fall.
This case comes amid growing concerns about the safety of Barcelona’s metro network, particularly on line 3. A few days earlier, on November 22, a man died after accidentally falling onto the tracks at Diagonal station.
According to the local press, the passenger also tripped on the platform. The train that was entering the station at that time was unable to stop in time and hit him.
The victim was transported alive to a nearby hospital, but died hours later from his injuries. The Mossos d’Esquadra opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the accident and, initially, worked with the hypothesis that it was a tragic episode without the participation of third parties.
The succession of incidents has relaunched the debate on security protocols on platforms, preventive measures against risky situations and the need to strengthen alert mechanisms for passengers.
