Hired to keep Red Bull Bragantino out of trouble in the home stretch of the Brazilian Championship for the second year in a row, coach Vagner Mancini was one of those responsible for taking Massa Bruta away from the fight against relegation. After all, it was with him that the team achieved a good streak of results and managed to breathe more calmly in the final rounds of the competition.
When he arrived, Braga was coming off a series of three consecutive defeats, the last of which against Vasco, 3-0, in the middle of Cícero de Souza Marques, on the 30th day.
Since then, the Bragança Paulista club has posted a success rate of 50% during the last eight days of the Brasileirão. There were four wins, four defeats, 11 goals scored and 10 conceded.
