Artificial intelligence is no longer a distant subject to take a concrete place in Human Resources routines. A study conducted by Pandapé in partnership with Adecco shows that 70% of Brazilian companies already use AI tools at one point or another during recruitment. The trend has intensified throughout 2025, following the growing need to accelerate processes, reduce costs and improve recruitment assurance.
The survey polled 460 HR professionals and showed that, in most companies, the use of AI is already part of daily life: 77% say they use it frequently on a daily basis. The most common applications are in areas that are high volume and require agility, such as recruitment and selection (72.2%), data analysis (52.2%), training and development (35.1%), and customer service (32%). Among participants, 54.8% noticed significant improvements in internal processes after adopting these tools.
Even with progress, there are still areas for attention. Around a third of professionals express concern about possible bias and the loss of humanization of automated steps. Furthermore, 30% of companies have never offered specific training in the use of AI, which highlights the need to qualify teams to better understand these technologies.
The research findings speak directly to what Pandapé has been working on throughout 2025. The software has advanced initiatives aimed at efficiency and candidate experience, maintaining a focus on reducing operational steps and offering more consistent data to support hiring decisions.
Among the resources that have gained prominence over the year are Pandapé Fast Apply, which allows applications via WhatsApp and helps companies reduce dropouts in high-volume vacancies, and Pandapé Genome, a tool based on gamified testing and neuroscience principles to support more predictive selection processes. Updating job ad formats, such as video posting, and improving digital admissions workflows are also part of the overall advancements.
For Patricia Suzuki, CHRO at Redarbor Brasil, the group that owns Pandapé, the strengthening of technology does not reduce the role of HR, but changes the type of work that professionals begin to carry out.
“When we automate repetitive parts of the selection process, the recruiter saves time to invest in steps that rely on more analysis, critical thinking and empathy, such as conducting interviews, understanding the context of teams and making decisions that actually require human sensitivity. Technology proves to be an ally for greater efficiency and confidence in the entire process.”
Aside from internal improvements, the year also showed that sectors such as retail, logistics, healthcare and technology continue to lead the adoption of digital solutions. The trend is expected to intensify in 2026, as companies seek greater speed, integration between stages and data security.
The study shows that Brazilian companies are already mature in the use of AI in HR and are expected to intensify this movement in 2026. The search for greater speed, integration and security in hiring has guided Pandapé’s priorities and oriented the advances that the software should present next year.
