“I am sending you the receipt for the purchase I made on Black Friday now. You know it’s Black Friday. “I bought the Christmas tree because I wanted to change it.”explains the woman and explains her decision in front of the camera and her partner.
The husband replies, confused: “What little tree? There’s already a little tree here.” She insists that the previous tree was more than ten years old “since we lived in Laos” and that it was time to replace it.
The conversation escalates when the woman reveals the exact amount of the purchase and the payment method: “I already sent it to you, why? Because I used the Falabella card.”
When the husband looks through the receipt, he does not hide his astonishment: “What little tree? What card? What is this thing I see here? Thirteen million four nine. What is that?”
She answers without hesitation: “The little tree.”

As he explains, the figure represents a significant discount since the original price was 18 million pesos and the product has its own lights.
The visibly upset husband reacts: “$13,490,000, don’t worry Diana, did you buy that?” The woman tries to calm him down, arguing that the card is blank and that the tree will “last a lifetime.”.
He insists, “No, no, no. You give me the pod back. You forget it. No, Diana, you’re in charge, how are you going to spend thirteen million pesos on a small tree, hey?”
She defends the purchase: “Julio, this little tree will last a lifetime.”
The debate revolves around the use of money as a couple.
“What should I give you back? Oh, doesn’t the money belong to both of us?” the woman asks.
The husband responds bluntly, “No, sir, that has nothing to do with it.”
She emphasizes: “The money belongs to both of us.”
He replies, “It could be anyone. You’re not going to spend the money on a tree. Forget it.”
The discussion becomes even more lively when the woman highlights the properties of the tree: “The little tree turns the light on by itself“.
The husband is less than convinced and replies, “And so every day it’s my turn to hit on her. Forget about it.”

She adds: “The light is already on,” but he remains firm: “There is not the slightest possibility of that.”
The woman’s final argument is the 25% discount: “Hey, they actually had a 25 percent discount.”
The husband steadfastly concludes: “It’s important to me Hell, they have some kind of discount. No, no and no. Forget it. This way? Hey.” When asked what to do now, she replies: “And what should I do now?” He suggests, “Give it back.” However, the woman clarifies: “It cannot be returned, Julio.”
Despite the comical intent of the video, out of curiosity, users on social networks stated that such a tree does not exist, as such an expensive example cannot be found on the website of the chain of stores where the woman claims to have purchased the Christmas decorations.
In fact, you can see on the website that there are trees with prices ranging from $15,000 to $2,730,000.
