Remember the case
The crime took place in 2010 and remained for years without a definitive solution. Élcio Spinassi, an influential figure in the strawberry agri-food sector, was killed in his own house in Jarinu. From the start, the main suspect designated by the police was the wife herself, now convicted.
The trial, which lasted three days, ends one of the region’s longest and most emblematic investigations. Samara must begin serving her sentence in a closed regime.
