We generally associate seaside destinations with summer. They are beautiful towns, with a port, small boats and good fish, but in the central months of the year they welcome half the country. And of course, enjoying its essence becomes more difficult. The good news is that when the noise subsides and life returns to normal, many find a charm that sometimes goes unnoticed among so many summer visits.
In winter, even if you have to dress a little warmer, there is something about these destinations that appeals. The light is different, the beaches become pleasant walks, the port belongs to the neighbors again and its authenticity is better appreciated. Nothing is missing that makes them special: the smell of the sea, the landscape, the daily activity of the local people and a seafood cuisine full of flavors.
