Allan was not happy to learn that Nikolas shared a tweet in a WhatsApp group with PL MPs in which the blogger analyzed the alleged reasons why Moraes left the Magnitsky list, seen as a kind of “financial death sentence”.
“Reasons: 1) they shit on Eduardo. 2) The dosimetry celebrated by the deputies brought down Magnitsky. Congratulations to those involved,” wrote Allan, referring to the bill that reduces the sentences of the January 8 convicts and gets the overwhelming majority of them out of prison, approved by the Chamber of Deputies this week.
Nikolas thought it was unfair of Allan to hold lawmakers responsible for the White House’s decision to improve Moraes’ situation. Sharing Allan’s comment in the WhatsApp group, the Minas Gerais MP wrote to his colleagues: “Now it’s our fault.”
Upon learning of the episode, Allan asked the MP on X: “Why send my tweet to the MPs WhatsApp group, Nikolas? Do you want to go live to discuss this topic?” The MP replied: “No, because you are shit. »
The public struggle between members of the Bolsonarist right is a first example of the damage that the end of Magnitsky could still cause to the political field.
As the blog reported, after the conversation between Lula and Donald Trump last week, both Bolsonaro’s allies and the president’s aides at the Planalto Palace were warned that they could expect a new measure of détente between Washington and Brasilia.
Reacting to Trump’s decision, Eduardo Bolsonaro himself blamed the failure of his initiative on “lack of internal cohesion and insufficient support for initiatives carried out abroad.”
