Former striker Fred, idol of Fluminense and one of the biggest scorers in the Brazilian Championship, retired in 2023 but has not left the field. Today, “Don Fredon” is the coach of the Fortaleza under-17 team. This Sunday he will play his first final at the head of the team.
Fortaleza U-17 participates in the Supercopa Capital. The tournament held in Brasilia was the former striker’s first appointment as coach of Leão do Pici. Fred can cap off an unbeaten campaign if he wins the deciding match.
