Giorgian De Arrascaeta is about to take one of the most symbolic steps in Flamengo’s recent history. Scoring twice in the 2-1 win over Cruz Azul (Mexico), on his Intercontinental Cup debut, the Uruguayan reached 98 goals for the club, just two separating him from his hundredth. As a bonus, he equals Pedro as top red and black scorer in world tournaments, with four goals, and confirms what the season had already said: he is experiencing the technical and physical peak of his career.
