THE salary difference between Spain and other European countries This is very obvious in some cases. This disparity is the result of different factors, such as the economic level of the country and the cost of living. In this way, a low salary in a nation can … be sufficient to cover basic needs, but insufficient for other needs involving higher expenses.
In this sense, one of the most representative cases is that Swisswhere average salaries are significantly higher than in Spain, with a gross monthly income which may exceed 6,000 Swiss francs (around 6,200 euros), while in our country it is around 2,000 euros.
High salaries in Switzerland make it one of the most desirable places to work. An example of this is Ana Marina Lassoa Spanish woman who works in this European country as a cleaning lady and explained in a video on her TikTok account (@anamarinalasso) what her salary is.
The young Spaniard explains the situation in Switzerland with jobs like hers. “Cleaning, along with hospitality and construction, is one of these unskilled jobs People who come to Switzerland without knowing German we play at some point,” he emphasizes in the video.
Salary as a housekeeper in Switzerland
Marina explains that there are three types of cleaning jobs in the Alpine country: cleaning factories, shops and private houses, that’s what she plays. “I like it. “It seems like a relaxing job to me,” he says.
Concerning the salary, the young Spaniard explains that she charges per service, that is to say according to the hours she spends cleaning the house. “For every hour I work, I get paid 28 francs per hour. In this case, for example, I cleaned this house for four hours and they paid me 112 francs,” he says. That’s 120 euros (30 euros per hour).
The young Spaniard is delighted with her work in Switzerland. “I like cleaning, so it doesn’t seem like a difficult job to do,” he says. She is also very satisfied with the salary and emphasizes: “Yes, I earn more as a cleaning lady in Switzerland than an engineer in Spain“.
In a second video, Marina tells what it’s like the application process to work as a cleaner in the Alpine country. “The first thing I recommend is to do what I do. I don’t work in black, I am hired by a company“, he specifies.
The young Spaniard explains that you must contact the company via its website and apply by sending your CV. At this point he recommends using the “Spanish picaresque” and include history experience in similar jobs, even if it’s not real.
“And you wait for them to call you. It took me a month, so don’t leave with stress and haste, in life you have to be patient. If you don’t have patience, show initiative and take on more than one cleaning job, there are many,” he concludes saying in the video.
