Santa Cruz de Tenerife, December 13 (EFE). – The passage of Storm Emilia through Tenerife resulted in a total of 85 incidents during the night, none of which were serious and mainly due to the strong winds, according to the Tenerife Cabildo assessment.
The island institution reports that essential basic services continue to operate, with isolated incidents such as isolated power outages occurring in Tegueste, La Laguna, La Esperanza and Llano del Moro, according to Endesa.
Air and sea transport were not affected, apart from certain incidents.
The Cabildo of Tenerife reports that the Insular Water Council maintains active sensors in flood risk areas, with no relevant flooding detected to date.

The storm left significant records in various parts of the island, such as sustained wind speeds of more than 60 km/h in the Central Plateau and gusts of more than 146 km/h in Izaña; Subzero temperatures in Teide National Park with values as low as -1.5 ºC; In El Portillo there were layers of sleet and ice of up to 5 centimeters and in communities such as Arico and El Rosario there were rainfall amounts of more than 40 liters per meter.
According to AEMET, this Saturday will be the worst day of the episode, with wind gusts that can reach speeds of over 90 km/h in high areas, heavy and persistent rainfall with storms and a worsening of sea states, especially on the northern and western slopes of the island.
