Good morning. National Court judge Antonio Piña is questioning this Saturday the former socialist activist Leire Díez, the former president of SEPI Vicente Fernández, and Antxon Alonso, considered by investigators to be a partner of the former PSOE organizational secretary Santos Cerdán in the Servinabar company, both investigated in the Koldo case. The three were arrested last Wednesday for allegations of irregularities in public procurement by agents of the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard, as part of an operation led by the Central Investigation Court 6 of the National Court, of which Piña is the head, in coordination with the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. The crimes for which they are being investigated in this case, which is kept secret, are prevarication, embezzlement, influence peddling and criminal organization.
In addition, the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and the popular candidate for president of the Junta of Extremadura, María Guardiola, are the stars of a campaign event in the town of Navalmoral de la Mata in Cáceres, the last weekend before the regional elections on December 21.
