Nicolás Ramírez was tasked with officiating the final between Racing and Estudiantes. The shortlist will also include four other judges on the field: Gabriel Chade as Assistant 1, Maximiliano Del Yesso (Assistant 2), Pablo Dóvalo (fourth referee) and Mariana Dure (fifth referee), while Héctor Paletta (VAR) and Hernán Mastrángelo (AVAR) will be in charge of the technical side.
Ramírez has extensive experience in defining games. He refereed two Superclásicos in La Bombonera, the final of the Argentine Cup between Argentinos Juniors and Independiente Rivadavia and in the duel for the first promotion to the Professional League between Gimnasia de Mendoza and Deportivo Madryn.
As for his past with the finalists, he led Estudiantes in 12 games, with a record of five wins, three draws and four losses for the La Plata team. He has now managed Racing in 11 games in which the Academy achieved four wins, six draws and just one fall.
