Madrid, December 13 (EFE). – Andrés Feliz, the Dominican international of Real Madrid, said this Saturday in the preview of the tenth matchday of the Endesa League against Bàsquet Girona that they will try to continue their current winning streak in front of their fans, recalling that they are a team that must be “always at the top”.
“We have to continue at this level of defense. It will be an important game because we play at home with our people and we want to continue this winning streak,” explained the point guard, who recalled that the Catalan team “has a lot of triples and a lot of transitions”, so the goal of the white team will be “to keep these percentages low and to set the physical level very high”.
“We know how important the league is and how important it is to stay at the top all year round. We attach great importance to it because this year there are a lot of competitions, so we must always be at the top,” added the Dominican.
Real Madrid face a new round of the Endesa League at the Movistar Arena, where they have not lost a month after their last Euroleague defeat at home to Panathinaikos on November 13, against a Básquet Girona side that still doesn’t know what it means to beat the Merengue team.
The Sergio Scariolo-coached team, after its latest victory in European competition on Thursday at home against Baskonia, comes to an impeccable last month in which it has achieved six wins, three in the Endesa League and three in the Euroleague, and no defeats. EFE
