
The Federal Police (PF) seized, on Friday (12/12), several jewels found during an operation targeting Mariângela Fialek, former advisor to the former president of the Chamber of Deputies Arthur Lira (PP-AL). Police carried out searches and seizures at Mariângela’s home and workplace. Look:
In the images, it is possible to see several pieces of jewelry seized during the operation. The inquiry investigates irregularities in the allocation of public resources through parliamentary amendments. The items will be subject to forensic examination.
Mariângela Fialek has worked in the Chamber of Deputies since 2021. During Lira’s term as Speaker of the Chamber, she served as head of the Special Council of the Office of the President of the Chamber. Currently, she is head of the Progressive Party (PP) in the House.

During this period, she was Lira’s right-hand woman, controlling the so-called secret budget table. The document organizes how parliamentary amendments would be distributed to MPs.
The Attorney General of the Republic, Paulo Gonet, declared, based on statements collected by the PF, that the former advisor acted in the role of controlling “the diverted indications of the amendments from the secret budget” for the benefit of a criminal organization “focused on the practice of functional deviations and crimes against the public administration and the national financial system”.
