One more step towards the final of the Intercontinental Cup. Flamengo increased the score in the semi-final against Pyramids with goal scored by Danilo seven minutes into the second half.
From another free kick, Arrascaeta crossed well again and the defender headed firmly and on the ground to increase the red and blacks’ advantage in the match. The player emerged as coach Filipe Luís’ option to replace Léo Ortiz, who started in the match against Cruz Azul.
