The loader machine was carrying out earthmoving work in a private area, on Bragantina Street, but the driver, a 51-year-old man, did not see the victim behind the vehicle.
An old man run over by a tractor
- According to the deputy in charge, the tractor driver helped the victim.
- The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and the Military Police (PM) were called.
- The pensioner was taken to Hospital das Clínicas, but did not survive his injuries.
- The body was sent to the Forensic Institute (IML) of Jundiaí.
According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the man who operated the machine presented himself spontaneously at the police station. He was questioned and released.
The case was recorded as culpable vehicular homicide. An investigation was opened by the civil police at the Campo Limpo Paulista police station.
