
Federal Reserve Atlanta District President Rafael Bostic said he is more concerned about price stability than the labor market right now, and is more in favor of keeping U.S. interest rates stuck in the current 3.75% to 4% range. “Under the current circumstances, moving monetary policy to an area close to or even within the accommodative zone would imply giving new life to the inflation monster and threatens to stabilize the inflationary expectations of businesses and consumers.”
