Clemente Nascimentosinger and guitarist of groups Innocent And Rude plebsunderwent heart surgery after feeling unwell before a show he was to give on the night of Friday 12, in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul. His condition is considered “stable”.
The information was revealed in a press release written jointly by the groups and the musician’s family.
“We inform you that Clemente is intubated, awake and conscious, he speaks a little with members of his family. His condition is stable and he continues to recover in the ICU” of Santa Casa de Capo Grande, informs the note, which also mentions the performance of “complex emergency cardiac surgery”, without further details.
Clemente Nascimento is the only remaining member of the original lineup of the band Inocentes, born in the 1980s and important in Brazilian punk. Since the 2000s, he has also been part of the group Plebe Rude. He also hosts the radio show Filhos da Pátria.
