Anxious about the decision against PSG, but focused on his victory and his world champion title, BH approaches Wednesday’s decision with confidence.
Unlike the first Intercontinental match, against Cruz Azul, where he started, Bruno Henrique started against Pyramids on the bench. It was an option from Filipe Luís, who, after the match, preferred to leave out a player who, a few days earlier, had played 90 minutes against the Mexicans. Thus, BH only entered the final phase, replacing Cebolinha. He had a good game, almost scored a goal and passed to Pedro, who almost found the net at the end.
After the match, BH was already focused on Paris Saint-Germain:
“Of course there is anxiety about the decision, but we have to focus on this final and winning it. We will be ready for whatever comes our way, we will be able to play a great match and, as I said, God willing, we will become champions,” he said, adding:
“We know how difficult the game is. Paris Saint-Germain are a European champion team, very qualified.”
Bruno Henrique pointed out that Flamengo showed a lot of strength this year, winning the Campeonato Carioca, the Libertadores and in the World Cup they were the only team to beat Chelsea, who finished as FIFA world champions in the middle of the year.
“We have already shown our strength in the last World Cup. Of course we have to be careful. Filipe Luís, of course, will guide us on what precautions to take in this match. So it is a final where anything can happen, but Flamengo once again comes in force to try to win and take this title.”
