Creamy panna cotta recipe
ingredients
Blackberry syrup:
- 200 grams of blackberries
- ¾ cup (tea) sugar
- 2 tablespoons brandy or whiskey
- 2 tablespoons of water
Panna cotta:
- 600 ml of cream
- 250 ml of milk
- 200 grams of sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 packet of unflavored gelatin powder

Preparation method
Blackberry syrup:
- Place all ingredients in a pot and put on medium heat.
- Stir constantly until you get a thick, glossy syrup.
- Allow to cool completely before use.
- Set aside to serve over panna cotta.
Panna cotta:
- In a saucepan, mix cream, milk, sugar and vanilla.
- In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin in 4 tablespoons of milk.
- Add the dissolved gelatin to the mixture in the pan and heat over low heat, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat as soon as small bubbles start to form around the edges (do not let it boil).
- Pour into a pudding tin or into individual bowls (no greasing needed).
- Cover it with plastic wrap and let it cool at room temperature.
- Place it in the refrigerator for at least 5 hours, until it becomes firm and has a creamy consistency.
- Carefully unmold and finish the blackberry syrup on top.
