According to the portal, the Saudi businessman’s investment will amount to two billion dollars (around 10.8 billion reais, at current prices). 75% of this amount will be allocated to the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and the rest will be paid to the Ministry of Sports of Saudi Arabia.
The negotiations, which have lasted for more than a year, are in their final stages, with only small adjustments remaining for the prince to become a full owner of the club. Thus, Al-Hilal will enter 2026 under the leadership of a new investor, which will be the first time in the history of the club that it will be entirely privatized.
