The video lasts one minute and forty seconds but is enough to move anyone. Its protagonist is creama 14-year-old boy looking into the camera with a mix of shyness and bravery. Don’t ask for a Play or a new phone model this Christmas. He wants to find a family with all his might: “My wish for this Christmas is to have a family.”
From a home in central Rosario, Nata decided to tell her story. “Hello, I’m Nata, I’m 14 years old, I’ve been living in a home in the center of Rosario for a little over a year. I like sports a lot. I swim twice a week, it’s a sport that I enjoy a lot, it amuses me, it relaxes me,” begins the video she published. Santa Fe (Single Registry of Aspiring Guardians for Adoptive Purposes of Santa Fe) and has already registered more than 55,000 likes.
Aside from that, Clarion He contacted the Santa Fe government, which confirmed that the release of the video had been approved by the boy’s lawyer and the judge in charge of the adoption file.
Nata is a teenager like any other. He was born in Santa Fe and enjoys going out with his friends to drink a Coke, play ball and chat. He is in his second year and admits that going to school is difficult for him. In addition, he goes to the psychologist every fifteen days.
“It’s hard for me, but I try to make an effort every day because tomorrow it will help me to be someone better and change the history of my family,” says the young man.
His story is full of painful moments that he prefers to forget. His parents are deprived of their freedom. “I have experienced violent situations “Something I don’t want to repeat, abuse, yelling, discrimination, it was something too serious and painful for my childhood,” he says with fear.
When he was 12, his mother took him to court to put him up for adoption. “I didn’t want that because my dream was always to have a family, a father and a mother. Something I could never fulfill and I had to go to a home.”
Today Nata lives in a home where she lacks nothing material. And yet he feels like he’s missing out on everything. “Nowadays I’m in a home, I don’t need anything, even though they give me all the material things I need, it’s not what I want or long for.”
Whatever he wants is said without hesitation in front of the camera, with an honesty that touches everyone who sees the video: “What I want and long for with all my heart is a family.”
And he repeats: “My wish for this Christmas is to have a family, to feel cared for and content and where I can really smile and feel for the first time that I have a mother and a father.”
The networks were full of emotional messages and frustration with the adoption system: “I’m just a mother (there is no father here at the moment), but I would like to adopt and change your life! What part of Santa Fe are you from?”, “I would adopt him! But I’m alone!” They find about 20 excuses not to give it to you.
This is not the first time a teenager has made such videos. Some time ago, José Maria Muscari He saw this from Lucio, a teenager from Corrientes who also dared to say out loud that he wanted a family and agreed to adopt him. Today they are inseparable.
While she waits for her family, Nata continues to go to school, swim twice a week and go out with her friends. He hopes that for the first time someone will see him as a boy who wants to give and receive love.
When it comes to the family she wants, Nata hopes for “a family with a father and mother, or if that’s not possible, a one-parent family.” In addition, he wants him to live in Rosario or surrounding areas so that he can maintain his ties.
The 14-year-old boy has two dreams about his adoptive family. “That the family has time for us to go for walks and accompany me to my activities, and that I can have my own room just for myself.”
