Agustina, a Córdoba police officer, has been living in fear for three weeks as the lockdown that protected her from her ex-partner, a member of the Tactical Emergency and Response Team (ETER), expired. threatened to kill her and that he continues to function despite the charges with their regulatory weapons.
In an interview with the show Last question On the radio station Continental Córdoba, the complainant revealed the shocking details of the threats she received during her relationship with the police officer who currently holds his operational position and even teaches the basic course for newcomers to the tactical team.

“He told me that he would kill me, that he would kill my family, that he would even kill my dog,” Agustina said. The threats included specific methods of violence: “He said he would throw me into the Blue Lagoon with bricks so no one would find me.and that he would repeat the same thing that former police officer Pedraza did to his children,” he added, referring to the branch murder case that shocked the province.
The situation started when Agustina tried to end the relationship. According to her, the police officer forced her to continue threatening her couple, taking advantage of the fact that she was aware of irregularities in her work. “He had put together a procedure for a gun he had lostso he didn’t let me get out of the relationship because I knew that,” he explained.
The threats escalated to include Agustina’s family and, in a disturbing twist, the attacker’s own children. “It wasn’t just me anymore, it was threatening my family and even.” threatened to kill his own children which he has with another partner,” said the complainant.

During the relationship, Agustina suffered various types of violence. “I suffered most types of violence with him,” he confirmed when asked if he suffered physical, economic and psychological violence.
The threats came true last year and after the complaint, the defendant was charged by the judiciary. However, the institutional response appears to be inadequate. Agustina, with psychological support, requested that the perimeter restriction be extended after it expired, but her request was rejected.
“After this restriction expired, he returned to his normal duties, worked normally with his weapons and that’s why I’m afraid that something could happen to me. I can’t leave my house because of fear,” he said.

What is most worrying is that the officers reported were far from being removed from their positions or demoted, but rather assumed greater prominence within the force. “He taught the basic course for newcomers to the tactical team,” denounced Agustina.
As the only protective measure, the complainant removed an anti-panic button from the women’s polo shirt, but she had to make her situation public in order to at least receive this tool.
