
Tiger trainer Ryan Easley died last September after being attacked by one of the animals he worked with. in a tragic event of which more details are now knownafter being revealed by the media TMZ.
Easley worked at the Growler Pines Tiger Reserve in Hugo, Oklahoma, where they collect wild animals from circuses around the world and they continue to work with them on shows for visitors.
The events occurred during a show in which they were also introduce his daughter Lily and his wife Elaine; among many other witnesses. At one point, the animal he was locked with in a large cage attacked him.
The animal was angry with Easley, causing nearly 100 puncture wounds from its fangs and claws. during the attack; as well as a huge hole in his neck.
The autopsy also revealed deep lacerations to the neck, back and upper body, in addition to crush trauma, puncture of the cervical vertebrae and bruising to the spinal cord and scalp.
Ryan Easley, as a tiger management expert, was one of the collaborators of the Netflix docuseries tiger king (2020), which chronicles the life of Joe Exotic, a big cat breeder in the United States, and his bitter conflict with Carole Baskin, an animal rights activist.
The series showed a chaotic world of private zoos, tiger trafficking and exploitation, extreme rivalries, manipulation, cults, weapons and crime. It went viral for its eccentric characters and surprising twists and turns.resulting in the conviction of Joe Exotic for attempted murder for hire and other charges.
The Growler Pines Tiger Reserve, where there are also other animals like bears, said goodbye to him, assuring that he was “a passionate advocate for wildlife conservation” and “dedicated his life to the protection and care of these magnificent animals.”
