Porto confirmed its favoritism by beating Estrela Amadora 3-1 this Monday (15), in the 14th day of the Portuguese League. The team led by Italian Francesco Farioli counted on two goals from Spaniard Samu Aghehowa and another from Francisco Moura to build the triumph at the Estádio do Dragão. Abraham Marcus scored for the visitors.
With this result, the Blues and Whites remain firmly at the top of the championship, now with 40 points. Estrela Amadora, on the other hand, remains with 14 points and occupies 14th place in the ranking.
The match began to unfold in the 17th minute of the first half, when Samu converted a penalty and opened the score. Estrela Amadora only reacted in the second half, equalizing after 15 minutes. Porto’s response, however, was immediate: three minutes later, Francisco Moura put the home side back in front. In the final stretch, in the 28th minute, Samu found the net and sealed the score in favor of Porto.
