
The President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, called on her party to reject moderate positions and pursue a policy of stronger action and denunciation, declaring: “It is this “Time to burn”.
This statement was made during the Christmas dinner the party held this Monday in Alcorcón, which was reportedly attended by more than a thousand people, including the national president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo EFE.
In his speech, Ayuso warned that the political context requires action from the party Determination and courageand called on their ranks to “jump into the pool” and openly express their position on the national situation.
“We can’t be lukewarm, we have to do one passionate politics”he explained at the event in Madrid, emphasizing the traditional militant identity of the Madrid PP. “Now we have to do it report which distances Spain from democracies,” he said, pointing to the central government’s recent actions and alliances.
Díaz Ayuso sharply criticized Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, accusing him of taking on a leadership role “totalitarian project” and “implement lies in the way they do politics.” As he pointed out, the current government came to power after, as he put it, “lied to citizens to drive out the government of Mariano Rajoy” and wanted to transform the country “by pandering to its partners until there was no trace of Spanish left in entire regions.”
The regional president focused on the “estate” which, in his opinion, will preserve the PP in the future and warns of the risks of coalition politics. “If we are in coalitions that only blackmail, it is impossible to govern effectively,” he told those present.

On the same day, Ayuso also referred to the “Red Belt” from Madrid, the area where the dinner took place, to criticize those who “deceive working people with empty populist speeches”. At another time, he defended the celebration of Christmas as a way to reaffirm society’s values and traditions.
National leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo also attended the meeting and promised that if the PP comes to government, he will take action “full test” through public funds managed by the Pedro Sánchez government.
“We will carry out an audit from top to bottom and without exception to the last corner and to the last euro,” explained Feijóo, underlining the need for one “Deep cleaning” in public institutions to “remove sanchismo from administrations”.
Feijóo reiterated that the PP will not stop denouncing the actions it is considering Corruption and “abuse” within the PSOE, adding that an eventual popular government would ensure that those responsible “give back what was stolen,” as they say EFE.
Regarding the internal climate, he wanted to highlight that “Unity and respect” within the party and appreciated Ayuso’s leadership, stressing that in the PP “at a time when PSOE women have to be ashamed of their party” there are women who “stand up and are not afraid”.
In the final part of the meeting, Ayuso encouraged the militancy to prepare for hypothetical early general elections, stating that the Sánchez government “It will implode at any time” and at the same time appeals to the PP to vote for the next regional elections in Extremadura.
He concluded his speech by reaffirming the role of education in the national political debate: “This is who we are more important than ever because this model will fail at any moment and we already have a program for Spain.”
