The Senate has the idea that the Dosimetry PL from the House facilitates crimes other than those of January 8. They’re trying to see if they can find a way to change this in the Senate without having to go back to the House. Because if the Senate changes what was approved in the House, it will automatically have to go back to the House and there will be no time to vote. It’s the end of the year, approaching a congressional recess, and if the House has to revisit the bill, it won’t have time to vote.
They are trying to delete certain texts which could favor the interpretation of the scope of dosimetry and also to negotiate with Bolsonarism so as not to approve the amnesty. It is difficult to approve it before the end of the legislature. And if it takes too long, Congress will resume its work in March and April will be the deadline for the governor of São Paulo to leave the government and run for president. Tarcísio de Freitas’ schedule does not match that of Congress. I think the trend is not to approve anything now. I don’t see how they could overcome these problems to approve it in a week. And there will once again be a great crisis. What seemed to be a negotiated solution with all parties is now in danger because there is not enough time to negotiate.
