
The government has given final approval for the River Plate University Institute act as private university institutionafter completion of the relevant assessments and compliance with the provisions of the Higher Education Act. The decision was formalized by Decree 889/2025, published this Tuesday in the Official Gazette, and allows the university to fully exercise the powers equivalent to a private university with final recognition.
The measure was ordered by the President and bears the Signatures of Javier Mileithe presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni and the Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello. The decree was issued following the technical assessments carried out by the National Commission for University Assessment and Accreditation (Coneau) and the reports prepared by the Education Secretariat of the Ministry of Human Capital, as set out in the recitals of the standard.
