MADRID 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed on Sunday the death of Raad Saad, head of the Ezzeldin al Qassam Brigades operational division, a day after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the airstrike in which he killed the militia’s “number two”.
“We mourn the loss of the great leader Raad Saad, Abu Muaz, one of the most prominent leaders of Al Qassam, as well as several of his companions: Riad al Laban, Abdul Hay Zqout and Yahya al Kayali,” he said in a statement published by the newspaper “Filastín”, an affiliate of the group, in which he stressed that the four “died true to their commitment” to the Palestinian people.
