Athlete from the Rio Tennis Academy, in Laranjeiras, Rio de Janeiro, Leonardo Storck, from Cuiabá, continues his preparation in the capital of Rio with an eye on the youth group of the Australian Open, which will be played from January 24.
The 16-year-old tennis player trained all week with João Fonseca, 24th professional world number, in the capital Rio, accompanied by the Rio Tennis technical team.
Storck leaves on January 9 for Australia where he will compete in the Traralgon J300, a preparatory event. Storck was champion of the Australian Open Junior Series of South America played at Rio Tennis in October.
The Rio Tennis team continues its pre-season with an eye on 2026. In addition to Léo Storck, Cadu Lino, Henrique Vialle, Bernardo Carvalho and the team’s newcomer, Felipe Mamede, who are in the first weeks of preparation for next year. The Rio Tennis technical coaching committee is made up of André Sá, Maurício Seiblitz, Bruno Savi, Martin Perez and Lourenço Bogo
