Corinthians have moved forward with negotiations to extend the contract of left-back Fabrizio Angileri. The information comes from the journalist Cesar Luis Merlo.
According to the publication, Alvinegro’s management offered to renew the Argentine’s contract until the 2028 season.
Although the negotiations are in the final stages, Angileri is expected to sign the new deal after the clashes against Vasco da Gama, in the final of the Brazilian Cup.
With a contract valid until December 31 this year, the left-back has made 41 appearances for Corinthians.
The São Paulo club returns to the field at 9:30 p.m. (Brasilia time) this Wednesday (17), at the Neo Química Arena, for the first match of the Copa do Brasil final, against Vasco. Next Sunday (21), the teams will face each other at 6 p.m. (Brasília time), at the Maracanã, for the return match.
