A nurse from the Regional Hospital of Paranoá filed a complaint with the Civil Police of the Federal District (PCDF), Saturday 13/12, after employees of the health facility received threats of attack.
According to the speaker, a patient who was unable to receive medical attention told the team that he would soon return to the hospital to “shoot everyone.”
According to criminal records, the servers were alerted to the threat via a group on the WhatsApp application. In it, a nurse recounted that the patient visited the hospital in the first week of December and received a red classification at the medical clinic. Without help, he filed a complaint with the ombudsman, but did not receive a response from the Ministry of Health for days.
On Friday (12/12), the man returned to Paranoá Hospital and received the same red classification. At that point, the patient threatened to return to the hospital armed for revenge.

The police report was recorded by official Leandro Chagas Demetrio. In the document, the nurse states that the threat was not only aimed at one person, but at all workers on the site, “generating a feeling of fear, insecurity and imminent risk for the physical integrity and lives of workers in the sector.”
According to Leandro, the nursing team and other professionals in the unit “regularly face verbal attacks, threats and situations of extreme tension.”
For the server, by uttering the threat, the patient was seeking to “unduly” hold the healthcare team responsible for “the operational incapacity of the public health network”. According to him, “the hospital in the Eastern region does not have sufficient infrastructure to meet the growing demand from SUS users”.
The nurse also registered a request with the Health Secretary. In the document, he requests the protection of employees and due diligence for users at all levels of assistance of the DF health units. “This hospital is being strangled due to the lack of sufficient primary and secondary care support,” Leandro said.
THE Metropolises contacted the Ministry of Health, but did not receive a response until the text was last updated. The space remains open for future events.
