
Isabel Preysler received the magazine Good morning! at home, from where he gives an intimate and in-depth interview in which he takes stock of a unique year.
A year in which he published his memoirs, which aroused many expectations and raised dust and controversial because he made public the intimate letters of the writer Mario Vargas Llosa, who was his partner for years.
THE worldly He gives the reasons for his decision in the magazine. “I had already finished writing the book when Mario died. I thought a lot about including his letters, but they are the truest reflection of what our relationship was like. and that’s why I decided to do it,” he says.
“Mario had always encouraged me to write it. He even told me he helped me. But it was obviously not the time.. It was a time when we were always on the move and traveled a lot,” he says.
Regarding the death of the writer, he notes: “Mario’s death was a very sad moment. We shared very happy years and I always felt great respect for his literary genius.”
