The new parking in the Plaza de San Martín de Porres in Triana is about to become a reality for the residents of Seville. It is currently out for tender and has a deadline of execution is planned in 24 months (18 months … construction) and solves the problem of lack of parking in the area with this private initiative project which would have 249 places where it is estimated that 32 places will be allocated to residents, 50 for subscribers according to different methods and the rest for rotating use, i.e. some 167 places and whose investment amounts to 8.2 million euros.
The car park will be located in a privileged environment but currently saturated in terms of road traffic, at street intersections. López de Gomara, Ronda de Triana and San Jacinto Streetcontributing to the decongestion of this emblematic district of the city. The intervention was approved by the Board of Directors of Seville City Hall, which declared the suitability and effectiveness of this solution to build a parking lot. two basements which provides services to neighbors and visitors.
Number of places available
The project will be developed in two floors undergroundinterconnected and three pedestrian centers accessible from the public highway. In the first basement There are a total of 111 spaces of type T1 (2.60 mx 5.00 m), four will be equipped with the possibility of electric charging, three for people with reduced mobility of type MN (3.70 mx 5.00 m) and one of the same dimensions MN will be equipped with the possibility of electric charging. Eight spaces are provided for two-wheeled vehicles, type MT (2.50mx 1.50m). In total, they are designed 119 vehicle parking spaces and eight parking spaces for two-wheeled vehicles.

In total, 130 parking spaces for vehicles and 17 parking spaces for 2-wheel vehicles are designed. A space is reserved here for residents, for a total of 32 places, including one reserved for people with reduced mobility.
Prices, prices and subscriptions
The study prepared by the companies Martín Casillas and Carmocon, SA, promoters of these, reveals the estimated prices that users will have to pay to have access to the new parking lot.
As for the places for residentsan amount is estimated for the transfer of the right of use 36,000 euros to be used during the 40 years of the concession. The transfer of the right of use should take place during the first five years of operation of the car park and a community of users will be established where the regime of use, enjoyment, operation and maintenance of the car park will be regulated. Each parking space will be allocated a quota proportional to its surface area.
Users of the rotation locations will have to pay a price per minute for the first year of 2.55 euros which will increase every year until year 38, which will cost almost double, around six euros (5.90 euros). This rate was estimated based on the volume of traffic supported, the absence of other similar parking lots, considering an average of 270 vehicles per day at start-up. The average length of stay for a driver should be 105 minutes.
Fertilizers will cost 150 euros for 24 hours, valid for the first three years, as well as for weekdays (morning/afternoon) which will be 75 euros and for motorcycles 50 euros. These prices will increase over the years to 190 euros for 24 hours; 95 euros for the split schedule and 63 euros for motorcycles in the 38th year of operation.
The primary objective of this new car park, in addition to providing services to the rresidents, workers and users of the hospital area, traders, catering area and hotels, is none other than creating a gateway to the Center for users coming from the metropolitan area, thus fulfilling functions of park and ride which will help reduce traffic intensity in the Old Town, thereby improving pedestrian mobility in the city center.
