PRISA Media has appointed Raúl Romojaro director of PRISA Motor, the transversal platform that brings together all the information on automotive sector products in the media of the group -EL PAÍS, Ace, Cinco Dias, Cadena SER And HuffPost– and, to strengthen the structure, Alfredo Rueda assumes the responsibility of section head.
This year has allowed PRISA Motor to be consolidated as one of the references in the specialized press, with an average monthly audience, according to data from the GFK auditor until the end of last October, of 2.2 million unique users, who consumed an average of 5.7 million page views per month. The average reading time for each page viewed is very notable, which amounts to 80 seconds to rise to the leadership of this measure for several months of the year.
With the appointment of Romojaro and Rueda, progress is being made in the objectives of a project born in 2021 with the aim of becoming a reference in automotive journalism in Spain. In addition to news, reports, developments, model analyzes and product comparisons, it also produces information related to new technologies, with priority attention to energy efficiency in mobility. All this, adapted to multiple stories, from text to video, including social networks. In this sense, audiovisual distribution has experienced significant growth during this period, particularly in short and dynamic formats that attract a younger audience.
On the other hand, it is a project that seeks to develop everything related to the engine, including information on the advancement of the electrification of mobility up to practical contents and advice for drivers, vehicle maintenance and road safety. And of course, vehicle tests and all the latest news from the sector.
In addition, the PRISA Motor Awards have already established themselves as the major annual event to recognize the best in the automotive sector in terms of design, performance, innovation and sustainability, an essential meeting for the industry.
During the year 2025, the PRISA Motor team attended around a hundred presentations of new products, both national and international, and tested nearly 80 of the most notable models on the automotive scene, to offer readers detailed information on an activity that is economically, industrially and socially relevant.
