Bahia has transferred the loan of striker Cristian Oliveira, from Grêmio, until the end of 2026. The information was disclosed by journalists Daniela Leona and Rafael Favero, from GE.
According to the publication, the player has already accepted the proposal from Esquadrão de Aço, shortly after the withdrawal of Nacional, from Uruguay, who also expressed interest in signing.
In addition to the Uruguayan club, São Paulo and Cruzeiro were monitoring the situation of the 23-year-old striker.
Grêmio, in turn, refused a proposal from Nacional worth 150,000 euros (around R$971,000 at current prices), for a one-year loan, with an option to buy at the end of the period, but understood that the values proposed were low.
During the negotiations, Bahia had already expressed interest in Cristian Oliveira, but had not yet formalized an offer.
Hired in February this year by the Rio Grande do Sul club, which paid around 25 million reais to Los Angeles FC, the striker played 37 matches, scored five goals and distributed two assists.
