Volunteer 2nd year Baccalaureate students at the Europa International School participate in a solidarity activity with the Red Cross

Last Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and in the Puerta Jerez area, the first activity of the training program for the 2025-2026 academic year took place. volunteering of 2nd year Baccalaureate students of the … school, developed in collaboration with Cruz Roja Mayores – as part of the program against unwanted loneliness – and Cruz Roja Juventud.

More than twenty student volunteers participated in the day, organized into two performance groups. The group of elders accompanied the elderly on a route of nativity scenes through the city center, while the group of young people collaborated in the XII Certamen de Coros de Campanilleros, a Christmas initiative organized by Atresmedia and Onda Cero. At the same time, the volunteers carried out makeup workshops and drawing activities for the little ones.

The work carried out by the students was widely recognized by the public. During the event, the host particularly highlighted the commitment, efforts and dedication of these young people, who make their participation in solidarity activities compatible with their last school year, by devoting part of their Saturdays to volunteering.

The next meeting of the program to support seniors in situations of unwanted solitude took place yesterday, on the occasion of the concert of the school’s Brahms Choir at the Collegiate Church of the Divine Savior.
