Zilu Godoi spoke directly about the end of the marriage with Zeze Di Camargo and said the decision to separate came from her. In an interview with the Questions channel on YouTube, the businesswoman revealed that it was she who left the house and refuted the version that she was abandoned by the singer.
According to Zilu, over the years the idea arose that she had been exchanged for a younger woman, which she denies. For her, the story never corresponded to reality.
“I meant I wanted to separate. I left home, I got divorced. People think I was abandoned and he left me for a younger woman, and he didn’t. He left me because I left him, I allowed it. And I want to tell people openly. If I wanted to, I would be here. I’m not here because I didn’t want to,” he said.

Painful process
Married for 32 years to Zezé Di Camargo, Zilu is the mother of three children with the compatriot: Wanessa, Camilla and Igor. Although she claimed to have initiated the breakup, she acknowledged that the process was painful and required emotional strength to move forward.
“Once you see a situation that you don’t like, why insist on this error? It’s not possible. I suffered a lot, but I said: I am very competent to follow my path alone, with God,” she said.

Open game on the financial coming
During the conversation, Zilu also revealed details about her financial life after separation. She declared that she had given up the pension to which she would have been entitled and decided to completely reorganize her assets. She currently lives in the United States, where she became a partner in a restaurant specializing in Brazilian pizza in Orlando.
“I have income. When I separated, I had a pension, but I gave all that up. Today, I have investment income. I’m selling all my things that I have in Brazil, because I don’t want to have anything there anymore, except my children, my family. And I live from that,” he explained.
Zilu also indicated that he maintains different sources of income and that he intends to permanently end his property ties with Brazil.
“I always do one thing here, another there. When I have to do something (advertising), people pay me. I rented my house in Brazil, which is an income, but I want to sell it. If it only depends on me, I won’t return to Brazil,” he concluded.
