Sánchez keeps the mystery about the new government spokesperson: “They will know soon”
The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, kept unknown this Friday the identity of the new spokesperson of the Executive to replace Pilar Alegría and limited himself to emphasizing: “They will know soon.” This was the answer he gave to journalists who asked him about the new spokesperson during the press conference he gave this morning at the end of the last European Council meeting of this year. “You will know soon; there is still a lot to do,” he replied when asked if he had already informed the new spokesperson that he would be one and if he was already in the government or if he would be a new member of the Cabinet.
While waiting for the moment when this appointment will be revealed and if it will be this person or another who will take over the Ministry of Education, the agenda of the President of the Government indicates that the most feasible is that he officially communicates the change next Monday. In this case, the promise to take office would take place the next day, Tuesday, at the Zarzuela Palace in front of King Felipe VI, before participating that day in the last meeting of the Council of Ministers of 2025.
