
Salvador was the city that saw the heaviest rainfall in Brazil in the past 24 hours, according to the National Meteorological Institute (Inmet). The capital of Bahia recorded 106.6 mm this Wednesday (12/11).
Next, São Felix do Xingu (PA), with a diameter of 55.6 mm, and Manaus (AM), with a diameter of 41 mm. Cruz das Almas, in Reconcavo Sul da Bahia, about 146 km from Salvador, recorded 39.2 mm, making it the fourth city with the highest rainfall in Brazil – and second in Bahia.
