The bells of Notre Dame Cathedral and Paris churches will ring in honor of the victims of the attacks of November 13, 2015, a decade after the worst attacks on French soil since World War II.
Archbishop Laurent Ulrich of Paris announced: “Tonight, the bells of all the churches in Paris will ring to call us to unite together” to pray for the 132 victims (there are officially two who committed suicide due to post-traumatic stress), for their families and loved ones and “for those who survived that night and who are still suffering the consequences.”

“Ten years ago, our city was plunged into brutal mourning over the deaths of 130 innocent people. For many of us, the memory of November 13, 2015 remains, even today, the memory of a long night of pain” and “shock at the scale of evil,” Archbishop Ulrich declared in a message to Parisians.
The Archbishop noted that masses in memory of the victims would also be held in Paris churches, and called on residents of the capital to light candles in their windows.

Remembrance and tribute to the victims

November 13 Memorial Park

At his feet will be accompanied by a state-of-the-art electronic organ, the Radio France Choir and the District 13 Choir made up of 44 survivors, as well as other surprise performances that will be recorded in a commemorative album that will be available at the end of the event on all streaming music platforms.
All profits will be donated equally to two victims’ associations: 13onze15 and Vida por Paris.
