Five months after the death of Preta Gil, Gilberto Gil paid tribute to his daughter on social networks this Saturday morning. The singer’s official account posted a photo of the two on stage during the “Tempo Rei” tour in São Paulo in April. On this occasion, father and daughter sang “Drão”, a song he composed for his mother, Sandra Gadelha.
“5 months 💙,” the caption reads.

- Kristin Cabot: She was filmed with her boss at a Coldplay concert. Humiliated and threatened with death, she decides to break her silence
Fans left emotional comments.
“I had the privilege of watching this show with you and got to see a packed stadium singing and crying with you! Forever black!” wrote one follower.
“Preta lives in our memory and in our hearts,” said another.
“Your absence becomes a presence,” said another.
Preta Gil died on July 20, at the age of 50, in New York, where she was undergoing treatment for cancer. Last week, his friend and presenter Gominho recalled, in an interview with “Sem censor”, on TV Brasil, the days he spent with Preta Gil in the United States. He said the artist’s health deteriorated rapidly and she demonstrated she was aware of her own limitations.
“She gave herself up. It was like she was saying, without saying, ‘I know,'” he said.
