Liverpool achieved another victory in the Premier League. During a match played this Saturday (12/20), the Reds beat Tottenham 2-1, away, thanks to goals from Isak and Ekitiké. Richarlison came off the bench and scored the winning goal for Spurs.

The victory puts Liverpool in a good position to challenge for a place in European competitions next season. The team coached by Arne Slot occupies 5th place, with 17 points. Tottenham remain parked in mid-table, in 13th place, with 22 points.
Richarlison is Tottenham’s top scorer this season with eight goals. In the last nine matches, the Brazilian striker has started seven times and found the net five times.

The game
Liverpool won. In the 10th minute of the first half, in a joint play with Wirtz, Isak received a good pass from the German and shot well to open the score: 1 x 0 for the Reds.
Liverpool’s second goal came in the 20th minute of the second half. On a cross into the area, Ekitiké rises above the Tottenham defense and increases the score.
In the 37th minute, Tottenham scored their only goal of the match. After hitting and rebounding in the box, Richarlison appeared to shoot firmly into the back of the net. Final score 2 x 1 for Liverpool.
