The beginning of 2025 marked an insurmountable turning point in the relationship between María Gabriela Isler and Mauro Urquijo. Although they have been one of the most talked-about couples in the Colombian entertainment industry in the past, starring in successive breakups and reconciliations, all indications are that conflicts have surfaced so far this year that the differences have become irreconcilable.
“Since this year, the relationship has, let’s say, deteriorated in the sense that we no longer shared it, we no longer had that communication as a couple. Until a few months ago, I was dating him.”María Gabriela shared in the dialogue The network from Caracol Television.

The actress and model suggested that a trigger for the split was a loss of enthusiasm for exploring sexuality. “I think that when there is no more sexuality in a relationship, there is nothing to do. Because for me, the most important thing in a relationship, alongside trust and affection, is sexuality. If you maintain a vibrant sexuality with your partner, no matter how many years pass, the relationship will remain strong. So that’s what happened to him,” he explained.

In this way, María Gabriela prevented any suspicion of infidelity or conflict on the part of either party. “There was no infidelity or arguments. Simply put, love disappeared. Suddenly we were both hurting each other, having the opportunity to have other options and give ourselves another chance in love, as much as he was with another person, as I was with another person,” he said.
In the interview, María Gabriela also revealed that she had already given herself a new chance at love after her separation from Urquijo. According to him, they started dating a month ago, after breaking up with Urquijo. “We met at the gym and that’s when the conversation started Feeling between the two of them and all that cool stuff,” he said, then introduced it to the cameras.
“Well, here I introduce my friend Rafael Moreno. He is a lawyer born in Leticia, Amazonas and here I introduce him to you. He is all yours.”Isler said with a laugh.
Moreno himself did not hesitate to point out what he likes about María Gabriela. “She is a woman who stands out at first glance everywhere,” he noted, emphasizing “her calmness when she receives the attention that she receives every day. She is very calm and knows how to listen to people, even the fans who are frightened by her.”

Coinciding with the end of his marriage to Isler, the Manizale-born actor is engaged in a public spat with his ex-wife following the actress’ recent comments in response to Urquijo’s accusations that she does not allow him to see his children.
In September, the actress said The network that the allegations regarding Urquijo’s alleged inability to see his children are unfounded. Adriana López assures that she has legal documents that support her position and rejects the version publicly disclosed by her ex-partner.
“It not only affects me at work, but also the good name and peace and quiet of my children.” One of them is still a minor and the other is also hurt when people talk badly about his mother and they don’t understand how his father and grandmother come to discredit him after 12 years. “For what?” he expressed.
López denied taking the children illegally out of the country to settle in Mexico and presented documents on air showing that they had obtained all the necessary permits in 2016. Furthermore, he clarified that he never sued him over food and now he knows that was a mistake. As he explained, the reason he did not complete this procedure was because Urquijo was going through a previous procedure and did not want the father of his children to end up in prison.
“I didn’t want to do it because Mauricio also received a child support sentence from his first daughter, which said that, as far as I know, he was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. And if I filed another lawsuit on the same issue, Mauro would go straight to prison. It seems terrible to me and I would never put my children’s father in prison. No. I don’t have that hate in my heart. Never. “I mean, it doesn’t occur to me,” he said.
